March 9 Meeting Minutes
Meeting Attendees: Ken and Kathy Maher, Ron and Linda Wencil, Alex and Renate D’Angelo, Rich Gruenberg and Judy Umbreit, David and Bobbe Lytle, Gary and Sara Spinazze, Dave and Janice Love, Rick and June DiLella, Mike and Sandy Connors, Ed Cashman, and Gary Westfall and Margaret Barcelo

Opening Remarks and President Report:  
Ken Maher called the meeting to order. The sheriff and deputy sheriff from Sarasota County will speak at the April meeting
Any event host should send pictures of the event to be posted to the website
Ken presented a document regarding several ways the club can donate time and / or money to meet our philanthropic goals

Secretary Report:  
A motion was made to approve the November meeting minutes. Judy Umbreit approved and Ron Wencil seconded the motion for approval 



Membership Director:  

We currently have 20 memberships with a total of 40 members and 31 cars. Please let Bill Mendes know of any changes to your membership

Financial: 

We currently have $1947.89 in the bank account.
Ken received a check for $750.00 from Carlisle Auctions for having drivers for the February auction

Social Events:
Please see the social events report in the PowerPoint presentation for upcoming events
Car Shows:
For those that are participating in the AACA show on March 27th, please have a fire extinguisher on display by the front tire of your car
Dave Love provided a list of local car shows. Please see the vice president report in the PowerPoint presentation for details
Now You Know: 
Rick DiLella spoke about how the Fleur de Lise became part of the logo on the Corvette. It was to show the French heritage of Chevrolet
