The benevolent committee aims to give back to the community. The committee along with the Shark Tooth Sports Car Club members aim to identify organizations in need of support. These organizations must serve the Greater Venice / South Sarasota County community. The committee seeks to award $500 per month and tries to utilize opportunities for gift matching to increase the donation to be received by the beneficiary. The benevolent committee and sharks also award a $1,000 scholarship annually to a Venice High School graduating senior who is looking to pursue a career in the automotive field, either through college or vocational school.
