How much do you know about the water in our community? Come join us for an experience you would probably never otherwise get. We have a private tour of the Venice Water Treatment Plant led by Jim Anderson the Operations Supervisor.
Important Note: Be sure to wear proper footwear as there is some walking over grating and uneven flooring.
When: Friday, June 14, 2024
Where: Venice Water Treatment Plant, 200 North Warfield Ave., Venice. From the corner of Venice Ave and US 41 Bypass, go West on Venice Avenue, just past Patches Restaurant and turn Right on Warfield. Drive straight back and look for building A. It’s directly behind Patches.
Time: The tour starts at 10:30. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before.
Duration: 1 hour for the tour plus time for questions – lunch after
