About the event
Greetings Fellow Sharks,
Come join us on Sunday, March 23rd for a fun day of driving along some interesting byways (no freeway driving) and challenge your skills at finding the answers to questions as you travel the route. For safety, each entry must have both a driver and a navigator. The rally will be held rain or shine.
We will meet at Lemon Bay Plaza, 1845 Englewood Road, Englewood at 1:30 pm for check in and the drivers meeting. Cars will be released at intervals beginning at 2:00 PM from the main entrance to the plaza. Your departure time will be noted on your “Rally Sheet” which you will receive prior to leaving the parking lot. Your completion time will be noted when you arrive at the end checkpoint. In the event of a tie (number of questions answered correctly) your time for completing the route will be considered to break the tie.
Awards will be given out and, of course, dinner will be available at the end of the route. Dinner will be on your own and you will be able to select from the menu at the restaurant.
Full details will be provided in writing at the drivers meeting and a DNF envelope will be given to each navigator, just in case. However, we are sure that no one will need to use them.
