Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction

So, who’s up to looking at a few hundred collector cars up close and then watching someone else pay much more money on a car then you and I ever would?  Barrett-Jackson is holding their annual east coast auction at the South Florida Fairgrounds in West Palm Beach on April 18-20.  We’re planning on a day trip on SATURDAY, April 20th.  This is not like our recent Lakeland or Premier Auctions where we had the opportunity drive cars across the auction block.  This is a pure spectator event. You can stroll through the car lot, window shop the vendor booths as well as watch the auction. This is not just a guy outing, but if you are thinking about bidding on a car………….

So, here’s the plan:

• 7:00               Meet in the parking lot of Tractor Supply located off Jacaranda Boulevard - down from the Rt. 75 interchange
• 7:10               Depart for breakfast
• 7:30               Arrive Cracker Barrel for breakfast – 800 Kings Highway, Port Charlotte
• 8:30               Depart for South Florida Fairgrounds – 9067 Southern Boulevard, West Palm Beach
• 10:30            Arrive Fairgrounds
• 11:45            Collector Car Auction Begins

*Everyone is on their own as to when they want to depart or to spend the night if you are so inclined

Tickets can be purchased on-line through the Barrett-Jackson website or in person.  Seniors pay $35 on-line and $41 in person.

This will be a club shirt event.

Given the distance, feel free to take your people hauler and/or carpool.  I’ll publish a list of attendees in advance, including those who are day trippers.
