November 9 Meeting Minutes
Meeting Attendees: Ken and Kathy Maher, Bill and Dawn Mendes, Dave and Janice Love, Mike and Sandy Connors, Alex and Renate D’Angelo, Ed Cashman, Rich Gruenberg and Judy Umbreit, Phil and Denise Mannino, Rick and June DiLella, Tom Lupica and Carol Parkinson, Tom and Geri Moore, Ron and Linda Wencil, Tom Rossi, Gary Westfall and Margaret Barcelo

President Report:
Ken Maher called the meeting to order
Event hosts should send pictures of the event to be posted to the website

Club sponsorships have been set. Gold level will be $1000.00, silver $500.00 and bronze $250.00
President and Secretary positions were up for election. These positions serve a two-year term. Mike and Ken ran unopposed and will continue as president and secretary
A benevolent committee has been formed with Ron and Linda Wencil chairing the committee

Secretary Report:
A motion was made to approve the September minutes. Ron Wencil approved, and Kathy Maher seconded the motion

Membership Director Report:
We currently have 26 memberships with a total of 52 members and 40 cars. Please let Bill Mendes know of any changes to your membership

Treasurer Report:
We currently have $3320.11 in the bank account.
An email will be sent to everyone in November regarding 2023 membership dues. The 2023 dues will be $100.00 and a $50.00 amount that will go toward a benevolent fund. The date for payment will be 12/15 and checks will be cashed on 1/2

Quartermaster Report:
White shirts are backordered.
Bill Mendes will research ordering tumblers. There is a minimum order of 36 tumblers

Social Events:
Carlisle Auto Auction in Lakeland on 11/11 and 11/12. The club receives a check for $750.00 for providing drivers
December 5th will be the holiday party at Made in Italy
December 6th will be the holiday lights outing with Dinner at The Point Restaurant
Charity golf outing will be rescheduled for Memorial Day weekend 2023

Vice President Report:
Venice PD will be holding a Blue Santa Toy Drive
December 3rd there will be a Toys for Tots Rally hosted by Suncoast Porsche. Please contact Tom Rossi for details

Know a member:
Carol Parkinson and Tom Lupica. Carol and Tom met in 2015. Carol is from Washington, D.C. She worked at the Naval Institute for 25 years. Carol has a Mercedes C300. Tom joined the Florida Bulldog rescue. Tom’s mother moved to Venice in 1996. Both Tom and Carol have parents buried in Arlington National Cemetery
